Being part of the islands is both a blessing and a curse for so many reasons. One good reason is how close knit we can all become because we live on an island. A not so great thing is that sometimes a person can go off to other pastures – not that that in and of itself is bad, but that 1) living in paradise has its (high as fck) prices 2) people find other opportunities elsewhere that make more sense financially…

Had a lot of friends leave the island – not because the living here was “bad” – but because the cost of living elsewhere made better sense for them and their family.

This meet was bittersweet – lots of faces that make rare appearances and at the same time saying farewell for now to Tommy. Glad there was a small time frame got to chat with him for a bit!

Again spent more time talking to people than taking pictures, which I’m getting more and more grateful for – to just enjoy the moment.
