S2000 Air Suspension Install | The Air Management | Part 1

Published by Lan on

I’ve been a heavy advocate for air suspension for quite some time now. My brother who sees how much fun I have with my Civic, was real eager to get in on the experience. Like me once upon a time, he had zero knowledge of air suspension and asked me a barrage of questions – “What do I buy? What’s good or worth getting? How does it work?” He kinda let me take the reigns and trusted me in my recommendations, which meant a lot to me. There were two things I remember him saying that resonated :

  1. “What do we get so that we can do this right the first time?”
  2. “Have you ever at any time regretted bagging your Civic?”

Remember back in this post and this post about a project that my brother and I were going to work on? Welcome to the multi-part series in the quest to bag the S2000!

What Are We Working With?

The answer question 1 comes in two sections – first is the Air Lift Performance 3P Management. I’ve had much success and little problems with it and it’s undoubtedly as straight forward as can be even for beginners. Its ease of install and user friendliness is a huge plus.

“The (Airlift) 3P will be paired with Accuair’s ENDO-CT”

The second part is the 3P will be paired with Accuair’s ENDO-CT. As of this writing, the Endo is arguably the most state-of-the-art system in the current market. It fits a WABCO (look them up) compressor into a tank itself. The advantage? It takes up less space and makes less noise. There is a CVT version with valves built in, but the 3P takes place of that.

Being that the S2000 is already a relatively small car with little space, the 3 gallon option is what we went with. It’ll fit very nicely into a compartment space in the trunk.

“It’ll satisfy the goals we’re looking to achieve so why the hell not?”

Sacrilege?

I’m particularly looking forward to seeing how well the ENDO system works and performs. I’ve only heard stories, but based on what I’ve been told, it’s going to see a tremendous difference from my dual compressor system in the Civic.

Airlift’s 3P is everything that I expected and more when I was new to air suspension. Combining both the Endo and 3P raised questions on the route my brother and I chose. It’ll satisfy the goals we’re looking to achieve so why the hell not?

Big thank you to Keith at bagriders for answering all my meticulous questions regarding the 3P/Endo system combination. While I am not affiliated, hit them up for all your air suspension needs and questions!

Finally, the answer to the above second pressing question my brother asked. My answer was short and simple:

“Hell no!!!”

Up next will be the installation of the management into the S! Part 2 of the install can be found here. Till next time RICECARDRIVERS!
