Hello, Wassup, Aloha, Konnichiwa, Hola, Shalom, Namaste!

I had envisioned a “RCD” meet for quite some time now. I brained-stormed some ideas ranging from probable to farfetched and what I ultimately wanted was to embody what RCD thrives on:

Mutual Respect for the Creativity, Enthusiam, and Individuality.

I believe that this was accomplished in our inaugural meet!

Though the rain was a factor there was a pretty decent turnout. So thankful and appreciative for those that still chose to come out. There were a range of cars from stock to modded and everything in between.

Part one of the meet started at Kamakana Ali’i parking lot

Intermission was the convoy over to Halawa Rail Station, which I was grateful to get some roller footage, but had to ditch the idea about a quarter of the way there because the rain came down HARD.

Part two was the meet at Halawa Rail station where some more people ended up showing.

During the rollout to Halawa Station, I was able to capture some rollers before the rain really started to come down… Luckily I was at a stop light and was able to quickly jump out of the car and grab the action camera… The rain cleared up about halfway through.

It rained intermittently at the rail station.

@beandubs said he wanted to stretch the car’s legs. He happened to see us in the lot and dropped by.

Thank you to ALL who showed and supported in spirit. Lots for improvement for the next time around. I’m thinking of an alternate 2nd stop, as I’d prefer the area to have places to eat and a bathroom.
