Being in the car scene for a while allowed seeing trends come and go as well as meet the vast people along the way – while there might be stereotypes in the car scene, the scene itself has no prejudice. Everyone and anyone has the privilege to enjoy cars.

Though many have left the scene for whatever reason, there are some who have (thankfully) stuck around – Oliver is one such person. He is from the time period we refer to as the “Honda-tech days.” IF you don’t know what honta-tech was, it was THE online forums to be into when it came to everything and anything that was Honda, especially in the aftermarket.

There’s been a few builds under Oliver’s belt and this Civic hatch most def takes the spotlight… he’s owned it since he was in high school.

Fkn’ dedication.

The exterior is nothing short of clean like you’d find on any EK9 chassis out of Japan – but emphasis on the Airwalker Japan front bumper.

To bring the car down to earth, the choice was to go with Buddy Club N1s along with a bunch of other suspension components. Something that caught the eyes were the 5×114 conversion with the NSX front calipers – all hooked into 16×7.5 Mugen MF10s.

For the interior, Oliver and his family sit comfortably in JDM CTR Recaros.

In the cockpit is controlled buy a Nardi wheel and billet shifter – piloting the chassis with precision and ease. The CTR cluster is a great touch!

And the heart of it all – the infamous K two-four. It’s amazing how the engine looks like it just belongs in the bay.

Such a great time shooting this design. It took up most of the morning and all well worth it. Again, it’s cool that there are those that still stick around cars – if something sticks with you then it just STICKS.
