Another Friday and another #EndofWeekFeat for the RiceFam.

Today we have something that might be a tad unorthodox – not something as common as Civics, 240s, or FRS/BRZ.

This is not a stab, but when the thought of this car comes to mind, its a car that the family uses for a daily… not very nice looking but as long as it goes from point A to point B and the AC is cold, it suffices.

Gabe flips the switch a little bit with his build! It caught my attention at a kjxfg meet in Waikele. It stood out because it was different. It’s a reminder that our “car world” is much much bigger than Skylines, Truenos, EKs, Silvias, and the like…

The story behind this is that even before Gabe comes from a family that likes to tinker with cars. Before he could drive he told himself that he was going to fullsend whatever his first car was going to be. It so happens that this was given to him by a relative in complete stock form and indeed fullsend Gabe did.

He says that it was challenging finding parts for the car as the aftermarket support isn’t as heavy as say Hondas, but he persevered, even messaging people in other countries and using google translate to communicate. Props to him in that.

The paint is from a newer gen Toyota Tacoma with an added flake.

Wheels are 15×9 +20ish? 195/45/15. Fills the wheel wells nicely.

I was really impressed with the interior. IT looks like a great cockpit to be in. The roof lights up.

Harness bar was bolt-in for the chassis.

Everything that seen on this car as modified has been done at the hand’s of Gabe.

As of this writing, there’s some small changes that he’s done to the car including tint and another wheel/tire combo… and the story will continue.
