Malasada Meet and Greet | dohcresearch x oldschoolimports
If there is something that never fails to amaze me, it really is how diverse and communitive the car scene is as much as it’s been heard time and time again – It’s one thing to hear versus seeing it in action.
There was a small gathering after work hours that I was able to go to, coordinated by dohcresearch and oldschoolimportshawaii as a get together for Takayuki visiting Hawaii. Highlight for me was I was able to chat a bit with Colin. Haven’t see that guy since he moved to Japan and we were riding fixies at the time – man how time has passed! I have a sorta-funny-not-funny story about how we met that I’ll probably share in the future.
Anyway, on to the pics. The diversity – of car make, model, design and of car enthusiast beginner and veteran – was represented here. Once again, if you know who owns these #cardesigns please let me know who so I can tag them accordingly!
Keep driving!
This is probably the first time I’ve seen something like this truck from @bob_n_nita. Is that… rotary powered!?

I have a soft spot for these Vdubs. I remember a white one my dad used to drive.
This corolla from @lancey808 is definitely f’n right hand drive.
This 3rd gen Supra from @martinphancy is legendary.
Though I’m partial to hatches, this coupe from @fillupmycup definitely caught my eye. Yes, those are REAL Rotas btw. :p
