“2020 Vision” and Mission Statement | Happy New Year!
Sup everyone!
It’s been one year since I started RCD on IG and the blog makes a year old in about a month!
I learned tremendously this past year. I knew very little what I was doing, but I knew a general direction I wanted with ricecardriver. I have a terrible habit of not being able to sort and express my thoughts.

As I progressed through 2019 just doing, making mistakes, and gaining insight I got a much clearer view of a vision and mission. I’d still be open to refinement to get it just right, but I currently have something that I’m satisfied with:
Vision: Car enthusiasts to keep DRIVING their exclusive builds casually or competitively.
Mission: To inform, develop interest, and involve enthusiasts, especially the unorthodox, in autocross and/or other motorsports.
I’m a little bummed that I’m limited to only autox at the moment, but I’ll make the best of what I do have. I’d really like to try a HPDE one day just to see what it’s like.
I learned the mechanics of drifting in Las Vegas and it was simpler than I thought, but getting it to look nice is another story. It’s thrilling, but I know it’s expensive to maintain.
At this point I’m eager to gain experience everywhere with anything!
20/20 vision is supposed to mean clear vision and it’s clearer than ever where we’re headed! It’s a great year!
